1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS application KeyMemo handles information related to you. This policy applies to users who download and use the app through the Apple App Store.

2. General Principles

No proprietary password cloud service: KeyMemo is designed primarily for local-first password management. Password data is stored on your device and may use Apple technologies such as Keychain and iCloud Keychain.
No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs: The current version does not integrate advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs such as Firebase Analytics.
Data minimization: Information is processed only to the extent necessary for app functionality.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Password Vault Data

This may include account titles, usernames, passwords, notes, websites, categories, tags, and favorites that you create or import.

Purpose: To provide password management, search, editing, import/export, and security-related features.
Storage: Data may be stored locally using Apple Keychain services. If iCloud sync is enabled, synchronization may occur through Apple iCloud Keychain services.

3.2 Face ID and Touch ID

Face ID and Touch ID are used only for unlocking the app and authorizing sensitive actions.

Biometric information is processed by Apple on-device. KeyMemo does not access your original fingerprint or facial data.

3.3 Clipboard Usage

When you copy information from the app, content may be placed into the iOS clipboard.

If clipboard auto-clear is enabled, the app may attempt to clear clipboard content after a specified period.

3.4 Import and Export

Import and export features may involve local file access and sharing through Apple system services such as Files or AirDrop.

Please store exported files securely and only use trusted environments.

4. What We Do Not Do

We do not operate a web-based password hosting platform.
We do not sell password vault data.
We do not use password data for advertising profiles.

5. Apple Services

KeyMemo relies on Apple technologies including iOS, Keychain, iCloud, StoreKit, and LocalAuthentication.

Apple-related services are governed by Apple's own privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

You may edit or delete entries, disable iCloud sync, modify security settings, or uninstall the app at any time.

7. Security Disclaimer

No software can guarantee absolute security in all situations. Please also protect your device passcode, Apple ID, and system updates.
